Olympia 200K Brevet (ACP) 3/24/2018

Get out of the city and come down to the south sound and explore quiet rolling roads!

Ride Summary:

Get out of the city and come down to the south sound and explore quiet rolling roads. The ride will start in West Olympia and explore the Steamboat, Kamilche, and Arcadia Points. These roads are filled with short but steep climbs interspersed with views of the water and mountains. At mile 47, the ride will pass through Shelton, a good place to pick up some lunch, before heading back into the wilds of Mason County. A steady climb up Cloquallum Road leaves Puget Sound behind and then follows the Satop River down into Schafer State Park.

The hills ease as the ride follows the Chehalis River Valley through Satsop, Elma, and Oakville. There will be one final stop in Rochester before heading north back to Olympia.

This is a similar route to permanent 1757 with a variation on the last 40 miles.
